A Beginner's Insight Into Bloodborne

The Nova Nexus - Part 3 Bloodborne ~ First Impressions When I booted up Bloodborne for the first time. I was expecting something very similar if not exactly the same as Dark Souls, like a sort of spin off of their iconic franchise. While multiple aspects definitely remind me of Dark Souls, a multitude of elements are entirely unique to Bloodborne itself. Pitted against of slew of absolutely horrifying enemies once again, I ventured off into a desolate and lonely landscape. This particularly felt similar to Dark Souls, yet this unfamiliar and dangerous land had its own unique personality. I began my journey by waking up in a sickly medieval-looking room, my character arising from a medical bed in an extremely dim and blood stained hospital wing. The way he sits up reminded me of Dracula resurrecting from his coffin; sarcophaguses and chained up coffins litter the city streets, accompanied by abandoned baby strollers and horse carriages. A Beginner's Insight Into Dark Souls III

The Nova Nexus - Part 2 A Beginner's Insight Into Dark Souls III Rising from the ashes of a forsaken and cursed land, I took my first steps into the land of Dark Souls. I saw a young boy wielding a key, traversing worlds with the iconic duo of Donald and Goofy at his side. Coupled with the enchanting music, a connection was born. I don’t remember ever specifically asking my parents for this game, but they could tell I wanted it. On Christmas Day, 2002, I opened our last present with my little brother. This one was for both of us. I wasn’t too keep on sharing a present at first, but soon enough a brand new PS2 sat before me. I opened the box, and Kingdom Hearts was sitting on top. I picked up the game, turned it over, and felt something I had never really quite felt before, in any facet of life. I felt a thrilling rush of inspiration and excitement. I couldn’t wait to dive into this magical and mysterious world. And then, ...
